Recently we visited Montenegro and took time to walk around and meet the teams at the two marinas that we partner with. It helped us to get a really good feel for each marina.
Montenegro is a really beautiful country that is still being developed. It’s situated in the Balkans with 180 miles of stunning coastline along the Adriatic Sea. Montenegro lies between Croatia and Albania on the coast, where there are plenty of great places to sail or motor to nearby.

Porto Montenegro has gained international recognition as one of the top superyacht marinas in the world. The marina is located in Kotor Bay and offers berths for yachts up to 250 meters long. Alongside the marina is an array of top-class amenities. These include luxury hotels, vibrant restaurants and bars, boutique shopping and a yacht club.
The marina has won numerous awards over the years, including the Superyacht Marina of the Year award in 2015 and 2018. It has also become a hub for international events. They have hosted events such as the annual MYBA Pop-up Superyacht Show, the Boka Navy Regatta and music festivals.
