With berthing for 360 boats, Mercury has a very ‘family’ feel to it. It offers a perfect blend of tranquillity, modern amenities, and a friendly maritime community that makes it an ideal home for your vessel and for you to enjoy your leisure time.

The marina has an onsite restaurant, the Gaff Rigger. Amenities include a large car park and laundry.

The nearest fuel station is at Port Hamble, a sister marina 5 minutes down the River Hamble and the nearest lift out is at sister marina Hamble Point  10 minutes down the River. Mercury Yacht Harbour has the Yacht Harbour Association’s Five Gold Anchors award.

Sublet berths

MDL berth owners are allowed to sublet their lease berths as long as the rate for the berth does not undercut MDL current pricing. The price quoted is the current MDL rate less VAT.

The benefits of subletting a marina berth include earning Otium Reward Points every time they buy MDL services.

This includes:

• 8 weeks storage ashore (subject to availability and local restrictions). After 8 weeks, storage ashore will be charged at the rate published in the marina’s additional services tariff.

• Unlimited Wi-Fi

• Sub-lessees can also take advantage of the MDL Otium reward scheme and get back up to:

  2% on fuel

  10% on visitor berthing

  14% on boatyard services

  4% on short stays and paid storage ashore at other MDL marinas

Location and travel information

Mercury Yacht Harbour is a 10-minute drive from J8 of the M27. The M27 offers easy connections to both the M3 and the A3. It is also a 20-minute drive from Southampton Airport – SOU.

If travelling in by train, the closest mainline station is next to the airport, Southampton Airport Parkway train station which has a regular service to London Waterloo. There is a small train station in Hamble, a 5-minute drive away from Mercury Yacht Harbour.
