Ocean Village Marina

Ocean Village is one of two marinas in the City of Southampton. There are 326 berths in the marina suitable for vessels up to 90m.

Within the marina, you will find convenience shops, bars, restaurants, a hotel with a spa, bar and restaurant and Harbour Lights picture house. Surrounding the marina is a mixture of residential accommodation and offices.

Whilst Ocean Village doesn’t have its own boatyard, it’s not too far to travel to sister MDL marinas at Hythe, Shamrock Quay and Hamble Point.

How much can you save by taking a berth at Ocean Village through Triangle?

Sublet berths

MDL berth owners are allowed to sublet their lease berths as long as the rate for the berth does not undercut MDL current pricing. The price quoted is the current MDL rate less VAT.

The benefits of subletting a marina berth include earning Otium Reward Points every time they buy MDL services.

This includes:

• 8 weeks storage ashore (subject to availability and local restrictions). After 8 weeks, storage ashore will be charged at the rate published in the marina’s additional services tariff.

• Unlimited Wi-Fi

• Sub-lessees can get back up to:

  2% on fuel

  10% on visitor berthing

  14% on boatyard services

  4% on short stays and paid storage ashore at other MDL marinas

Location and travel information

It will take you about 18 minutes to drive from Junction 3 of the M27. It’s a short taxi ride from Southampton’s main train station who has a regular service to London Waterloo and also to Birmingham.

Southampton City centre is a 10-minute walk from Ocean Village. Here you will find a wide variety of restaurants, bars, shops and other amenities.

Ocean Village is surrounded by well known historical buildings. It’s located within an area of Southampton where many people spent their last night before boarding RMS Titanic. Ocean Village has also played host to the start of the Whitbread Round the World Race (now known as the Volvo Ocean Race). The marina is across the water from Woolston where the Spitfire aeroplane was manufactured by Supermarine.
